The on the first afternoon-evening of my Dubai Trip (February 17, 2010) I was treated to a Desert Safari. It begins with Dune Bashing. Just imagine a wild roller coaster and not getting off for about 30 minutes.

The Project - Getting Started
A new, very cool project is underway. I don't want to get anyone TOO excited, so I'll say, no, it's not the Autumn Rock house. However, it is happening at Autumn Rock and I hope you'll follow me over the next few weeks to see what it is. This photo was taken on Thursday morning, May 14. A New Bernina Arrives On My Doorstep
That's right, I have a new sewing machine. Well, not new, but new to me. I am now the proud owner of an old Bernina 1230. This machine is known as a war horse and I've hoped to get one for years. However, this is not just any old 1230.
Recently Catherine Anthony, the mother of renown quilter Libby Lehamn, passed away. The machine that has come my way belonged to Catherine and I consider it a treasure. You can see her name fading on the lower right of the machine.
Do you have an older machine that you swear by? - and still use?
