Where to start? With finding certain colors in one photo, with certain colors in a composite image? I was struggling because mostly I take pictures of what I see that catches my eye and interest. I found a way to choose a challenge. It was 4, Split Complimentary. I kept looking at the color wheel to try to understand it all. A couple of nights ago there was a glorious sunset which I photographed from my front yard as I played with all sorts of camera movement and panning including vertical panning. After some basic LR adjustments, I checked the color wheel and saw I was able to achieve the split complimentary. Yellow/red/purple. It is a busy week, so whew! I am enjoying the learning with my color wheel and will use it more. Slight crop to right side.

I took a trip to Texas to visit my mom for her upcoming 92nd birthay. We took a drive to see th amazing lights for the holidays. There were many trees warpped in lights, but this one sported lights on all branches all the way to the tippy top

I didn't look to see what others did so their images wouldn't influence my choice for a movie quote. I'm not sure this is a super well-known quote...unless you know the movie - but at least I will tell you the movie and hope that helps...Fried Green Tomatoes. Any guesses?
