We have had a difficult few months, and took a break to reset after losing my Dad in September. Mom, Matt and I went to Maine for a few days. I haven't taken many photos at all for months, but this trip got me back into it. I havent posted anything here for quite awhile. I have missed it, but was just overwhelmed. We'll see how the next few weeks go..... |

Ricky says: I was lucky to have a ka-zillion landmarks from my trip to Pportugal, but the one that looms most are actaully two. The Sanctuary of Christ the King is a Catholic monument and shrine dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus Christ overlooking the city of Lisbon situated in Almada, in Portugal. It was inspired by the Christ the Redeemer statue of Rio de Janeiro, in Brazil. The 25 de Abril Bridge is a suspension bridge connecting the city of Lisbon, capital of Portugal, to the municipality of Almada on the left bank of the Tagus River. |
