Photos of the Week - Week 44Critique Group Challenge: Week 44, Visual Tension Photo by Mary Degreef Click to view a larger image Mary says: Started out with a photo of some metal cylinders that I used the warp tool in PS to stretch and manipulate so that they appeared to be under tension. Pretty straight forward. Put these three together, moving in different directions, for visual tension. Kept thinking something was missing and ended up deciding a snake entwined in the photo would be a neat contrast of organic and inorganic. In my opinion, a venomous water moccasin is always a course of tension. |

Critique Group Challenge: Week 44, Visual Tension Photo by Ricky Tims Click to view a larger image. Ricky says: With the travel this week, finding that visual tension has been challenging - however, I decided to shoot the supports in the terminal - at an angle - hoping that the weight, support, lines, and tilt, would provide visual tension interest. No matter, this time of day and the ambient light created lovely colors. |
