Photos of the Week - Week 16Critique Group Challenge: Week 16, Double Exposure Photo by Julie Titus Click to view a larger image Julie says: Two scenes from this morning's sunrise over the Cascade foothills in Eugene, OR. Photos blended in PS with 50% opacity on the top photo, which is more visible in the upper part of this image, the smoke line flowing in front of trees, and the 2nd photo is trees and ridges fading to the background. It was a lovely yellow glow, which remained in combining them. |

Used Bing Create with the prompt: wide angle, modern art, black and white clip art of three secret agent faces hiding in with a lush colorful garden. Not at all what I was imaging, but I like the topiary appearance of the three "agents". I did add the to periphery of the original image, using photoshop, to include all of the faces. |

In this case, instead of setting my camera so Shutter Pioriry and using the 1/8th seccond, I let aperture take control and since it was learly morning, some shots were faster - some slower. Of course it was hit and miss, but here one really blur and one more identifiable blended. I like how this technique blends colors to cfreate colors I don't see with my eye. Minimal edits in Lightroom adding texture and a tad of clarity - and adjusting the basics. |
