You wouldn’t know it but this is 2 merged pictures of the rusty hood and fender of my husband’s truck. Fun playing with the colors in Snapseed and then edited again in Image Blender.

This was to illustrate the end of the story, with the little one holding the last Truffula Seed. I did not intend for the realism, but decided I liked it. Used Bing Create: storybook Style, a little boy with long unkept black hair wearing black pants and a long sleeve striped tee shirt, standing within the center of a small ring of stone blocks placed on the ground, holding his arms in the air and hands cupped together . Dreary desolate scenery with parched dirt and a dead tree stumps. I never really figured out Imbedded text during Ricky's photography lessons. But I went back over the lesson and placed the word UNLESS into the stones, using photoshop. Not at all what I envisioned when I started.

I read the lyrics often (although I know them fairy well), and at one point thought about being the old man with a beard. But as many of you know... my life is in transition. I live in the place I've treasured since 2002. Hugo and I took our 4WD side by side and then hiked up to a ridge that looks over Autumn Rock and our house. I thought... "it's perfect for me" - the last line of the song. This place will always be perfect for me and capturing Mother Naure in her glory (and recorvering from the horrible fire of 2018) made my heart sing. I've taken thousands of images of my mountain paradise over the years, but every day is different and every vantage point brings new inspiration.

It's not often we hike to this ridge overlooking Autumn Rock and our home, but the views are spectacular. Another moment captured - another treasure to take with me.
