 Gabor says:

The way that hydrangea flowers decay to show just their veins seems perfect for this week's challenge. I sat a small vase on a lightbox to take this image - well, 15 stacked images. I then blended the result with a black and white layer set at 30% opacity.

“Today’s the day the teddy bears have their ‘Birthday Party’ picnic.” This song, improvised a little, has been in my head all week, so I decided to submit this image.

AI ARTA Prompt: In the woods. Every bear that ever there was is gathered in the woods for the “Teddy Bear ‘Birthday Party’ Picnic.” There are lots of bears, treats, a birthday cake, ice cream, gifts, balloons, and party hats. High fantasy, muted colors, ultra-detailed.

We had two vases of beautiful flowers (mostly roses) recently. When it was time to toss them, Hugo tossed them off our terrace onto the hillside of the gully. Walking by I throught they were still beautiful in a fading sort of way. Wabi Sabi - temperal - and still beautiful. I love that what is going is being replaced by fresh new wildflowers - life goes on.
